Roman silenced everyone, telling them to shut up. He asked Jey what he did when Jimmy got hurt and accused him of being selfish for asking for a title match in Jimmy's absence. Roman claimed that Jey became the "Right Hand Man" only because Jimmy was hurt and he wouldn't have had a chance otherwise. He further accused Jey of screwing over his own twin brother and pointed out that Jey's younger brother, Solo Sikoa, respected Roman more than his own blood. Roman warned Jey that if he was beaten, he would be done, having no part in their legacy or history.

Roman then asked them to think hypothetically, questioning what would happen if Jey beat him. He emphasized that Jey would take everything from him, including the title and the Tribal Lei. Roman stated that he would no longer be the Tribal Chief because of Jey, but he would always be Roman Reigns and able to do whatever he pleased. He expressed his disbelief that Jey wanted to do this and asserted that Jey couldn't beat him. Roman asked why Jey thought he could.

Jey replied, saying it was because he had already beaten Roman. He claimed to have pinned Roman and be the only one to have done so. Holding Roman by the back of his neck, Jey confidently stated that he would beat Roman again at SummerSlam.
